• Michel de Villers is interviewed in Jazz Hot Magazine no 419. He talks about his experience with Django.
• "Un jour, au Boeuf sur le Toit, j'avais composé une sorte de slow. En arrivant, j'ai dit à Django : "j'ai composé un truc". Il m'a dit "joue-le!". Il a pris sa guitare et il m'a accompagné d'un bout à l'autre comme s'il avait lu une partition. Puis il m'a dit : "c'est pas mal, mais tu vois, à cet endroit là, ce n'est pas cet accord, c'est celui là". Rien qu'en m'accompagnant, il avait pensé aux accords. Il n'avait pas besoin d'écrire la musique."
